Do new cars need protecting?

For many reasons, "YES" is the answer. Typically, your vehicle will be the most expensive possession you own, and you want to protect it as much as you can. A protected vehicle is an easier vehicle to look after and easier to keep clean, so you can spend more time enjoying your vehicle. A detailed and protected vehicle with regular, safe maintenance will look great for longer and maintain a higher value.

How long does the protection last?

Great question! The different types of coatings last a different amount of time. One of the major factors in durability is how the vehicle is maintained over the years.

Our Paint Protection Film, for example, has a warranty of 10 years or more, depending on which option you go for. Gtechniq Ultra paintwork ceramic lasts +5 years, glass and alloy wheel coatings last up to 2 years and interior coatings last between 6-12 months.

How does a professional protection package differ to the dealership option?

Car manufacturers and dealerships specialise in the manufacture and sale of vehicles, whereas the car care side is what we specialise in. The types of protection options they promote, in our experience, are rarely better than average. Combine that with the fact they're poorly applied, and it doubles the reason to go with accredited car care specialists.
